Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

Shobly Limited is the controller of the personal data collected through abdulosama.com, Learn with Abdul Osama, our offer pages and the “Abdul AI” chat. We process your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The data we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, and your profile picture when you sign in with Google.
• Purchases: the course, amount, currency, country and payment method. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
• InstaPay proofs: the transfer screenshot, stored privately and seen only by the administrator.
• Course progress: lessons watched, where you stopped and completion.
• Forms and conversations: what you write or say in contact forms, the WhatsApp list or the text/voice chat with “Abdul AI” (name, WhatsApp number, what you need, and a summary the assistant writes for the team).
• Technical data: your country (from your IP address, to show the right price), device and browser type, and the pages you visit.
• Proof of your checkout choices: the time you ticked the immediate-access / withdrawal box.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• Contract: creating your account, giving you the course, payments, receipts and support.
• Legal obligation: invoices, accounting and tax records.
• Legitimate interests: answering your enquiry and routing it to the right person, protecting the website from fraud and bots, and aggregated usage statistics without tracking cookies.
• Consent: WhatsApp marketing messages and updates (stop them at any time), and advertising measurement with Meta — see section 4.

4. Cookies and browser storage

• Strictly necessary (always on): the session cookie that keeps you signed in, your cookie choice, and keeping a chat open during your visit.
• Visit source (optional): a 7-day cookie that remembers where you came from (the referring site and campaign links), with no personal identifier.
• Advertising (optional): the Meta Pixel and Conversions API measure our Facebook and Instagram ads; Meta may set its own cookies.
• Statistics: our own visit counter uses no cookies and does not keep your IP address.

Visitors in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: the optional cookies are used only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Elsewhere they are on by default. Everyone can change the choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use service providers who process it on our behalf only:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, database, storage and bot protection (Turnstile).
• Stripe: card payments.
• Bunny.net: hosting and streaming of course videos.
• Google: “Sign in with Google”.
• Meta: advertising measurement, and messages on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
• Anthropic and OpenAI: running the “Abdul AI” assistant and summarising conversations. ElevenLabs: voice conversations when enabled.
• Zoho Bigin: managing customer and enquiry records.
• Our sales team: if you ask for an offer or a service, your enquiry reaches a team member for follow-up.
• Authorities: where we have a legal obligation.

6. Transfers outside Europe

Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where they do, we rely on approved safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

• Account and progress: while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
• Purchases and invoices: 6 years, as Irish law requires for accounting records.
• Enquiries and conversations: up to 2 years after the last contact, unless you become a customer.
• Visit data: 400 days at most.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time (for WhatsApp messages: ask us to stop in any message). To use any of these rights, email us below; we reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or to the data protection authority in your country.

9. Children

The website and the platform are not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we find an account belonging to someone under 16, we delete it.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to data to the people who need it, and never store passwords or card details.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; changes are published here with a new date. This policy is available in English and Arabic.
